Pagco Construction: Licensed Electrical Company Serving San Francisco 94124
1670 Jerrold Ave, San Francisco, CA 94124
Our Story
My journey to owning Pagco Construction is a bit unique. After studying Anthropology and French at URI, I moved to California and discovered a true passion for the trades. This led me back to the East Coast for electrical apprenticeship training before returning to San Francisco, where I've been with Pagco for years. In July, my new business partner, Colin Thornton, and I took over from founders Paul and Kathleen. We've maintained their core philosophy: being a reliable, single-source solution for electrical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler needs in San Francisco. We believe that diversity in our services doesn't mean a compromise in quality. Every project, whether a small repair or a major upgrade, receives our focused attention, professional workmanship, and the kind of personalized, friendly service that builds lasting relationships with our neighbors.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is involved in a comprehensive electrical inspection for my San Francisco home?
Our electrical inspection is a thorough evaluation of your home's entire system. We check for outdated wiring, ensure your electrical panel can handle modern appliance loads, and identify any safety hazards, like improper DIY work. We provide a clear, detailed report on the current state of your system and any recommended upgrades or repairs to keep your home safe and up to San Francisco's electrical code.
Why is a plumbing inspection important before buying or renovating a home in SF?
San Francisco's older homes often have plumbing systems that are decades old. A professional plumbing inspection from our team can uncover hidden issues like galvanized pipes prone to corrosion, inadequate water pressure, or improper drainage. Identifying these problems early helps you avoid costly surprises and ensures your renovation plans are built on a solid, functional foundation.
My home's circuit breaker trips often. Is this a sign I need a panel upgrade?
Frequent tripping is a common sign that your electrical panel is overloaded, a frequent issue in San Francisco homes as families add more devices and appliances. Our electricians can assess your panel's capacity versus your home's current electrical demand. We often find that upgrading to a modern panel not only resolves the nuisance tripping but also provides the safe, reliable power needed for today's households and meets current city code requirements.
